A 16 acre wooded park filled with hiking trails and comfy picnic spots. The park also has a playground and a pavilion.
Nineteenth century gardens and plantings are one of the major draws for visitors to this historic park. Hiking, biking and picnicking are all well-liked activities here. Part of the park is closed during the winter due to the roosting habits of the bald eagle.
At Hale Park guests can admire the park's beautiful landscaping as well as the views of the river. The park is open to the public from dawn to dusk.
Like the name suggests, Waterfront Park provides visitors with a good view of the harbor. Several benches are situated throughout the park.
